Environmental Issues... |
|
Ozone depleting substances are under strict elimination timescales. Most of the harmful CFC-based refrigerants have now been phased out and, from January 2010, no virgin-HCFCs can be used in new refrigeration installations. By January 2015, it will be illegal to use any harmful refrigerants in both old or new installations. At ACRS as a matter of policy, we are already endeavouring to eradicate them all long before the deadline dates have been reached. All new installations, for example, are now supplied with clean, harmless, environmentally-friendly refrigerants. |
Allergies... |
| 15% of the UK population suffer with hayfever during the summer months, yet installing an appropriate Air Conditioning System could go a long way to help alleviate their symptoms. Some Air Conditioning Systems can actually filter pollens by up to 90%, helping keep rooms protected by the system almost pollen free! A modern air conditioning system enables you to enjoy a constant temperature within rooms without the necessity of opening windows, thus keeping you relaxed and comfortable at all times whatever the outside weather or temperature. They also dehumidify the air thus increasing your overall comfort and wellbeing. |
